They called Bioshock a RPG/FPS. Oh wow, it had two endings... Sorry, it's a straight up FPS with some ability customization. I wish the game had more RPG elements but when you break it down it's just a linear FPS with a great story, nothing terribly innovative like say Mass Effect which is a true RPG/FPS.

most of those games are in closed Beta stage as we speak. click on the links instead of posting more silly jealous sony fanboy garbage. KZ2 went from closed beta to launch within months.

Over 100K for one month is a pretty big number. It means the 360 outsold the PS3 by about 34%. Especially when Sony needs to compensate for their low software attach rate by selling lots of systems. The 360 already sells more software so even if the 360 sold the same as the PS3 it would still be a victory for MS in terms of profit and loss.

Yeah, but Game Informer is pretty harsh on JRPGs.
However, I am too. I'm sorry but with all the advances nowadays JRPGs have to evolve. The cutesy, juvenile characters, cliched story lines, and awkward combat systems have to go. Star Ocean was kind of silly anyway. You go to all these different planets and everyone is stuck in the medieval age. Hard to get immersed in a world that is about as plausible as Bush rerunning and winning a third term.

The 360 has a $399 console called the Elite and it sells pretty good.
but the best AI I've ever seen was in the original Half-life. The AI in Half-life 2 was great but it seemed to be missing that something from the original. the marines would flank you, throw grenades back at you, hide from you, find cover effectively, even seemingly plot against you. it seemed very lifelike. of course, I haven't played the game in awhile so maybe it's just nostalgia.
I do agree that the AI in COD4 is average. the difficulty arises from limitless respawns, grenade...
in one aspect:
There is a reason your health/shield regenerates afetr getting shot. you're wearing super soldier armor. not so much in COD4.
I've played Counterstrike maps with more people than 60 and it pretty much sucks because it's all run and gun.
personally anything more than 8-10 per team is excessive.

Come on, no one saw this coming? 20+ hrs of new bada$$ GTA4 gameplay, weapons, gameplay, music, internet, etc for 20 bucks versus another FPS in a market glutted with them. Easy win for GTA4.

If they ever released Quake 3 or Counterstrike 1.6 on XBL Arcade then I would quit COD4/Halo 3/Gears 2 for a long time. Maybe forever.
Playing CS:assault (my favorite map) over and over again on my 360 would be pure gaming bliss.
